I’ve been inching through June’s pick and honestly? I really, really love it. It’s such a short book, and somehow I still haven’t finished because ✨capitalism✨ However, I’m hoping to wrap it up tomorrow.
So far, Uzoamaka is my favorite character. She’s such a sweet soul.
And the writing? So soft. So observant. It doesn’t try too hard, and that makes it land even more.
